Only 8 days till Christmas ya'll!! As I was shopping for some last minute gifts I wanted to enjoy the warmer weather and get a few pics in one of my favorite new sweaters. I am in love with this lace top from Chicwish! I've linked similar ones that are really cute. The lace adds a feminine touch. Fall Florals & Floppy Hats

When in LA you have to adore all the great scenery and back drops! :) There were so many great places to shoot. I loved shopping on Melrose Avenue, with the boutiques and luxury brands that were definitely eye catching. I will do another post about my favorite places to visit, shop and eat! This romper was great to run around and go shopping in. Best part it's on sale for under $20! I love floppy hats, perfect for fall. (here is one similar to mine) .Of course, I paired it with my new favorite Clark Shoes! They are super comfy and the low heel was a big seller for me. Need to take a break from the high heels every now and then!

Quick & Easy Acai Smoothie Bowl

Happy Sunday! In Los Angeles these Acai Smoothie Bowls are the craze and they are delicious! I was craving one this morning and decided to create my own. Instead of doing the berry bowl which I normally get, I wanted to switch it up and make a green smoothie. It's fun to make smoothies at home and really easy, plus they are super healthy and full of nutrients.

 I started the recipe with frozen bananas, blackberries, spinach, greek yogurt, and acai berry puree, which I found in the freezer section at my grocery store. Next step is to put all the ingredients into the blender with Almond milk or your choice of juice (cashew or soy milk) I've also seen recipes with apple juice or coconut water. Whichever you prefer!

Lastly, the fun part! Adding the toppings. I topped my bowl with sliced almonds, blackberries, and blueberry granola. It's definitely a great nutritional kick for in the mornings!

Ingredients:

1 Frozen Banana
2/3 Cup of Almond Milk
1/2 Cup of greek yogurt
Handful of baby spinach
Acai berry puree

Suggested Toppings:

Raspberries
Blueberries
Blackberries
Nuts- Almonds, Pecans, Walnuts
Shredded Coconut
Chia Seeds

Fall Florals & Bell Sleeves

I am loving this bell sleeve dress from Dillard's! Dark ground florals is one of the biggest trends right now and is what a majority of prints in my closet are. The small details, such as the ladder stitch, really caught my eye. How cute is the back of this dress, with the bow detail! I paired it with my favorite saddle bag and laser cut booties.

Happy Sunday!

It's been a busy weekend with getting ready for our LA trip in less than 2 weeks!! I have never been to California, so I'm really excited to experience all that LA has to offer. Since I needed to make a trip to the Galleria Mall (which is a beautifully HUGE mall in Houston) I wanted to be comfy because you do a lot of walking. My Keds are my go-to for comfort and style. I love how comfortable they are and the gray matches with so much! I paired the gray with one of my favorite colors, Olive. The colors mixed well and got the job done with being comfy, yet stylish :)

Blogger Meet and Greet

It was so much fun meeting one of my favorite bloggers at Clinique in Macy's today! I am such a fun of her work and love her inspiring blog, Daily Craving. She was so sweet and her outfit was amazing! As a blogger just starting out, it's encouraging to hear how others started and hear great advice. Bohemian Vibes

My first blog post! :) I am excited to share one of my favorite summer outfits. I am loving this bohemian look. I felt like I was ready for Coachella! I LOVE bohemian, flowy and embroidered tops.   I've linked similar tops and fun sandals that are great prices!
